Here I am to change the tone of the thread. It is now "Dave wants wolf ammo in 9mm and .40...CHEAP"

PM me with offers. I am willing to write checks* or use cash in much smaller amounts.

*Checks may or may not simply be pieces of paper with lots of crayon markings.

I've got some Herters 9mm, and some wolf in .223. I'd have to check to see what all we have in 9mm, but I'm pretty sure I'm under 150rds of wolf.

Well, it's all perspective really. If you make $100,000 a year, $1.000 isn't much. It's 1%. If you make $20,000 a year, that same $1,000 is 5%, that's a lot higher. 5% of $100,000 is $5,000, still not a lot. Point being that the more money you have (assume you keep your expenses in check), the more disposable income you have to play with. The less money you make, the less you can afford. So goes the law of the land.

Yeah, $25,000 isn't a dinner out, it's a sum of money, true... but it's not going to really change one's life forever.

Thanks for the lesson :) We got it, you have and make a lot of money.... :D

Sometimes it's just the cumulative effects of age. Pluses to getting older- I'm smarter, wiser, make more than I did 5-10-20-and 30 years ago and have saved some. Negatives- older, fatter, slower, higher cholesterol, tuition bills for kids, higher taxes. It all evens out in the end 8-)

Not saying that's the answer, just throwing it out there.

4 weeks ago, those assets were worth less than half what they are now. How's your 401K doing this month?

Good enough not to wait months/years for them to get cheap again. Just to hope for another massacre so I can reap the rewards. It's honestly pathetic.

Agreed. I've poured almost 10% of my earnings into 401k's/stocks the last 3 years. The return has been less than spectacular. However, right after the election I bought two new personal rifles (a Colt and DPMS, one thanks to our fantastic dealer/forum member "ThunderJohn") and slipped in a couple orders for more than 10 rifles that did show up in the past couple weeks. I didn't gouge anyone, but I did send many of them to auction....which is the true definition of "market price" .....my wife always asked why I kept buying guns, now she understands my answer "they're a good/safe investment" very, very well.
