When it comes to changing lanes or merging into traffic I want to know why we decided to do this.
Old way, go the speed of traffic, don't wait until the last second and when opportunity arises or you drive to the open spot turn your blinker on and move over. If done correctly nobody has to slow down or change lanes. With the exception of heavy traffic this is not that hard folks.
New way, go any speed you want, blinker is optional, looking in mirror is optional. Move into traffic or change lanes whether there are cars there or not causing them to scatter just so you can move over also causing the flow of traffic to slow down ultimately leading to a traffic jam. If a car doesn't immediately get out of your way then flip that person the bird because you are entitled to whatever lane you want whenever you want, then complain that "people just don't LET YOU IN anymore".
The flashing your lights thing is long been dead and is now looked at like your assaulting the guy in front of you or your a road rager. People think they can do what they want and if they don't like the fact that your following the laws then they instantly put you in the category of road rager.
