I hate the media.. People can't write things these days without a bias?

Looks like I will be boycotting Groupon now...

I need to start a list of all the sell outs to boycott. Seems like a lot of new ones need to be added. :x

Well, that's an easy boycott for me, since I never used Groupon in the first place.

Groupon Is Done With All Gun Deals

Sam Biddle and the staff of Gizmodo / Gawker are a bunch of libtard freedom haters. It's a shame because I liked the gadget coverage on Gizmodo before they started hating on the military and all 2A issues.

Just closed my groupon account and called them to voice my opinion. I hope others follow suit.

Here is the email I recieved back from Groupon.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate your feedback and take these inquiries seriously.

Gun-related deals, including shooting ranges, conceal-and-carry, and clay shooting, are on hiatus as we review our internal policies for the types of deals that we feature. Groupon has always aimed to offer deals driven by local consumer preference and request; at this time, enough consumers have asked us to eliminate the category that we believe a review is warranted. A decision has not yet been made.

Please note that all existing purchases for gun-related Groupons are still valid and deals that were previously offered are not being canceled.

While there may be a liberal aspect to their new direction it could be a publicity stunt. Look at all the free publicity they got out of this. I don't condone their policy change, just don't think that this kind of posturing is completely anti-gun. Cheap and opportunistic? Hell yes.

What needs to happen is those in this catagory who ofered these deals need to invalidate them immediatly. Sucks for the consumer but tha will get back to groupon very quickly.

I have been a good customer, and told them I will not use them anymore if they discriminate against these kinds of deals.

Everyone should write them so they can here form the other side and see how many customers they are pissing off.

Don't just write them, write their customers.
Waterpark of America is a big advertiser locally.
Park Tavern just ran a deal.

I let them know that as long as they are supporting groupon, I would not be doing any business with them.

I kept my groupon account.
As each days deals come out, I send an email.
