I should add......if I get the lowers during the week of the 9th, I would prefer to have a little more time to prepare for the party - I want everything to go smooth with a minimum of issues. I want to actually do a "run thru" so we all have a good time and I don't end up with egg on my face! lol Would that sit well with everyone?

I read back a few pages... It wasn't 100% clear, but it looked like some additional lowers might be available? Can I still get in on things? What is the total cost?

Works for me if we have to push it back, time will allow for better road conditions for those travelling from the metro as well. My schedule is busy with classes but I will make it work. Also if a 3rd lower becomes available I will step up for it. Even if we do not know tell the day we have the "party".

I just wanted to give my thanks and appreciation to JAKL(Shannon).

Due to unforeseeable circumstances I decided it was personally best for me to withdraw my deposit to JAKL for the forgings. I notified JAKL over the PM of these boards and he gladly immediately processed a refund for me. I thought it useful for me to share my experience with you all. I am sad the plan didn't go according to original details, however with my communication and dealing with JAKL over the last month it is my opinion that his organization is a classy business. I would not hesitate a moment to work with them again in the future.

So thank you JAKL for providing my refund! And I would also like to thank you again for your fantastic contribution to our society. Please do not forget the importance of your gesture!

Well, I have not received any lowers - this is the official notice that the build party will NOT take place on the 9th due to this. These were two emails from Thursday and Friday.

I know that Kalli is not giving me run around or anything - they are just swamped like everyone else - I trust they will be here very soon.

I will keep everyone updated. As soon as I have them in hand, we can make new plans. Hope that works for everyone. I apologize for the inconvenience!
