HF.241 is still listed on the Wednesday agenda on the committee's web page:

I'm gonna try to grab my cousin and make it down for the Thurs. morning hearing... What's the best way to prepare?

Also, it looks like this is all front loaded what is the significance on Thursday, are they still debating/deciding then?

The only one I can make is the Thursday afternoon/evening session. Any agenda info posted about that yet, or does it depend on the previous sessions?

They've introduced 4 more bills that'll be slotted in. The schedule is extending by the house.

Wednesday is the day for the "Assault weapons Ban" Bill and "Magazine Capacity Ban" Bill -- Thursday might be the body armor permit and others...still up in the air.
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

Why is nobody introducing pro gun legislation, or at least anti-ban legislation (I guess that would be pro gun). :D :?:

Anything pro right now would not get anywhere. All pro2A efforts are going into defeating what is already on the table I am sure.

I just sent another round of emails to my state and federal representatives; I swear I feel an inch taller every time I do.

The House meets just about any day. These have been introduced, hence the meetings to allow the public to testify. Once the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee finishes with its Discovery period, they will meet and may make make a recommendation. Then it will go to the House floor for a vote.

This could happen anywhere from Wednesday night, to infinity. Infinity meaning it dies in Committee. Meaning it will never hit the House floor. (Our BEST case scenario)

I really see the House passing some form of regulation. I expect it to be magazine capacity, and the implementation of some sort of background check regulation. These are the low hanging fruit at this point for gun-grabbers.

If they get through the Senate I would be surprised.

Has any state ever passed a law requiring residents to turn in property without compensation? Maybe I need to start a new thread...

Yes, it is called: Regulatory taking

There is a grey area with the 5th amendment, Imminent Domain has caused a ruckus with this. The government can lowball you big time.
