That was my take too. Like I tell my kids all the time about managing personal appearance - like it or not, people's perception of you becomes the reality by which you are judged. His physical appearance gave further reason for those with bias against us to dismiss him out of hand.

Obama put together the greatest voter mobilization effort to get reelected by any party any where. That proves the DFL has the Technology and Organizationalskills already in place, in even more so in this state!! Clearly the local media is in the Tank, The only thing you hear on the local 10's is metal health issues... nothing else. Im so sick of seeing Hennipen county sherriff talking about how he talked with the President and then dodge the question! I believe it was on Fox 9 that someone said that most of the murders involved cheap pistols, well lets ban Highpoints and see zero crime in Muderapolis, but murders are already down 40+% since 2006.

How well versed are most of us with MN law that we can speak off the cuff about it. I also liked how Stanek, tacitly, agreed that we don't need a new ban on anything.

If you haven't watched it, do so. That few minutes speaks volumes about the political nature of the debate, and how most of the gun control pushers are ignoring the violent reality.
