Thanks to all for showing up.
I didn't get to the live feed from the beginning, so I must ask: Did any of the antis address the committee?

Thanks to all that showed up, and those that testified.

Nice job Tman, RobD, David Gross, Rothman, Professor, and everyone else I missed.

Due to work today, I was unable to make it to this morning hearing. I will be there tonight for the 6pm edition...

Is there going to be a meeting place for tonight? I am coming with my brother.

The hearings are at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; you’ll need to be there by 8:30. Gun rights activists will meet in room 400S of the State Office Building.

I didn't get to watch the whole thing streaming, but from what I saw the grabbers got absolutely smoked. Police chiefs asking for unconstitutional powers, depriving depressed people and those that drank a few too many beers from ever hunting again without spending thousands appealing the automatic gun ban...It made some strange bedfellows. GOCRA was testifying alongside NAMI about how misguided these bills were. It was awesome.

I dont even know what that means..pretend?? Is it to do or nott to do uni background checks....not the middle!

As was testified, so called "Universal" background checks won't be obeyed by criminals. So the "universal" part is pretend. Just like pretend gun free zones.

Thank you for the explaination...appearantly I'm dumb :D

Doesn't surprise me, that coming from cops or a Police Chiefs.

Please don't lump all cops into that group... Don't forget about the Deputy that testified on our behalf. Also remember that chiefs and sheriffs are often playing politics.... They don't necessarily portray an accurate representation of the average peace officer out there.

Thanks to all that attended.

Thanks to all that testified.

Tman, nice to have a face to your posts.

I only saw the last hour or so (last of Stanek's testimony to end).

I thought tman looked like his avatar? That't not a self-portrait? ;)

Also can anybody tell me what Lee Vague (Woodbury Police Chief) said? I think he was in support of one of the gun grabber bills and I would like to drop him a line and let him know it wasn't appreciated.

My gratitude to all who showed up and especially to those who testified on our behalf! I plan on attending tomorrow since I can only afford one day away and it seemed like today was well attended already.

Thanks!!
