Just received my windowed Gen 2 from DSG ordered on Dec 23/24. Just waiting on my non windows now that were ordered at the same time.

What's the current going rate on these right now locally?

Automated response out of Spikes - they're not saying anything about ETA's either. :(

That's a good question? I seen anywhere from 25 to 85 bucks crazy. What scary is people are buying them for that.

I received 30 Gen3, black non-window yesterday from DSG. Ordered long ago. On Fri i got a "will charge" email from Intense Tactical for 10 windowed Gen3 ordered on 1/10. So if a ban doesn't come soon, prices should start dropping. I ordered from so many places so long ago I lost track. Think I have at least 100 different color and gen still to come.

I wonder if Magpul is going whole hog on production for now and if at some point seeing a ban being passed, will shut down the plants to avoid being stuck with unsaleable inventory? I suppose they could still rely on some foreign sales.

Did you get any type of 'shipping' email or did they just show up?

Received a email from brownells last night explains why some people received there orders before others. It had something to do with the way there computer handled back orders, witch wasn't going by who ordered first. They said they fixed this problem and know its going by first in first out. I sure hope this don't screw me out of all my mags i have backordere cause there computer was screwed up.

Just got this in an email:
(Friday, 08 Feb)

Dear Folks,
We want to thank everyone for your patience with us. Thanks especially to those of you who told us orders were being delivered "out of cycle." We’ve been in business an awfully long time and are proud of our reputation for great service, so we had to find out what was going on.

And we found the problem. Simple really. About 15 years ago we put in place system logic prioritizing a few back orders ahead of others. It was a rare situation, but necessary at the time and under normal market conditions back then, those reasons made sense.

Then the world changed, and back orders ballooned into the thousands – literally – and our system and the vendor’s ability to keep up just broke that logic. About 300 orders were moved to the head of the line under the old system logic, and had their orders shipped ahead of where they should have been in line. It moved all the rest of you back about 300 places in line – which, rightfully so, caused an uproar.

When we found the problem, we immediately disabled this logic, truly resuming our first in first out policy. The real problem is that demand is far greater than any factory’s ability to quickly catch up.

The good news is we have cured the broken system logic; thanks for telling us. We are shipping in order received, and handling your orders the way we have always tried to – honestly, fairly, and with everything right on top of the table.
Best,

Frank & Pete Brownell

I emailed once, got an auto-reply that said they's follow-up. no reply
