SR9. Fresh from Gander Mountain. My first gun since I was 12 and had a shotgun for bird hunting.

I get a lot of crap about my D.E muzzle brake project, added this picture to see if I would get reactions. Last night I loaded some Hornady XTP's , got kinda emotional because of how beautiful they looked. Sounds stupid, but thought I would insert it because I'm sure there is others that have had those same moments. (sorry it's off topic).

Photo with my old stock, but I like it.
(the couch, while quite disturbing looking, is awesome)

And as stated earlier in the thread, I dislike having my optics up so high but am working towards correcting it via cheek riser or other methods. It shoots just fine for my needs for now.

What carry handle mount is that? Would you recommend it?

I cannot be sure of the brand, it came with the AR when I purchased it in a private sale. Looking around, there are many companies that make these and they're pretty cheap.

It functions well, holds the Vortex sight in place. The thumb screw on the bottom makes removal quick and painless, and when re-assembled the sight is placed perfectly.

Only drawback is that iron sights are useless with the optics mounted up so high. But that is no fault of the mount, just the design in general.

I'm sure the anti's think I'm crazy for having that many rounds and "Standard Capacity mags" but hell all my AR rounds and mags are useless since I did lose my m4gery in a tragic ice fishing accident as I previously stated.

Oh and the mags are filled too.. But still too afraid to shoot any of it because it's too painful to lose something that can't be replenished

It's been said, that Superior never gives up her dead. If it ever dries up, they should be in good condition, I hear the oxygen levels at the area I saw them go down in are non-existent.

The purpose of a firearm in a defensive situation is to make the other guy leak from holes he was not born with. Your job is to install those orifices for him.

No they're special "assault clips" for me to throw at an attacker. It's good for a few bruises and a concussion if I had great aim
