Lots of ammo found

Draw your own conclusions as to why, but the purchase of so much ammunition
by DHS should be making
you ask yourself the question: why?
Did you ever think you would see this happen in the USA you grew up in?
What allows this to happen in the first place is a near complete absence of
real news coverage
on any true aspects of this Administration. It has been this way since early
2008.

I believe they bought a large amount not to long ago also. Any serious reasons why they are doing this?
Maybe buying up before the price goes through the roof?

Helps keep it out of our hands, if we can't find it, we can't buy it.

We are last in line in the ammunition totem pole... basically, we get what's left.

I was just at one of the local hardware stores to see if they had any 9mm stuff, they didn't, and the lady there was talking about all the same stuff. They've been told not expect any ammo shipments anytime in the near future. She said it wouldn't be so bad if it was civilians buying it up, but it's hard to compete with the government.

What's 'up north'? Several places in St. Cloud last weekend had bare shelves. That's not 'up north', but it is away from the metro.

I'm guessing a little more off the beaten path than that

They're stocking up, and stocking up the law enforcement organizations, in anticipation
of any civilian unrest or resistance to the government.

The New World order won't allow armed citizens. They're buying that much for a reason.

I've been asking around about this. And from what i heard from two different gun shops today was basically the same thing....

The government is supposed to be regulating something with the powder in the near future. Not sure what is being added or taken out. But i heard two stories on this. One is that the powder is supposed to break down in a year. And the other store told me that the powder will break down in 5 years. So the government is buying up alot of "old stock" because once this passes legislation, then companies will be building new ammo with the new regulated powder. It's supposed to help keep people from stockpiling ammunition. They figure nobody will want to stockpile it since the shelf life will be either 1 year or 5 years. Whichever it is. That's basically what i heard today on it.

It sucks. But the place i buy ammo from is fine. I stopped in today and bought 400 rounds of .223

I've also heard about future ammo having a shelf life. Guess we should stock pile the good stuff now and in the future buy what you need on the way to the range.

Our govt could screw up a wet dream.

I wonder why they bought hollow point ammo? It's outlawed for use in any kind of "international conflict", some kind of Geneva Convention nonsense. Sounds like they can only use it within the US. Things that make ya go hmmm....

FMJ would make more sense if you were stockpiling it for future use.
