Looking at superior master series 50 gun safe.

Postby Glocktwenty3 on Sat Feb 09, 2013 8:01 pm

Went looking at gun safes today. I think I have my mind set on the Superior master 50. It is bigger and more than I need at the moment, but I have been adding to my collection a little faster than usual. I am just not sure on the price though. Is it ok to post the price the store wants. I just don't want to get my head ripped off and find out later I should have paid less. Doe's anyone know what delivery of a 1000+ lb. safe usually runs? The delivery is included in the price. I have a walk out basement, so delivery should be easy. I am a small business owner, and understand businesses need to make money. I also know some things are marked up more than others and businesses are willing to deal a little. Never bought a safe before, so any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

I'd be interested in the price if you want to pm me. My wife and I are looking for a good safe. Leaning towards a liberty right now.

Got my safe at Safe & Knife near Cabela's in Rogers. Couldn't be happier. Well worth it's weight in a life time's worth of goodies and new additions. State Fair free shipping- a 200$ value. Came with an attack cat, too!

Curious what kind of a deal I could get with largest models delivered to Wisconsin. Might need quite a few bolted together for storage of "friends toys from Minnie-Sota".

Also bought my safe at Safe & Knife in Rogers

Pretty sure in home delivery is still included in the price they'll quote you.
Love my Amsec BF but would have never attempted to get it into the basement by myself. Watching 4 movers working it down the stairs was enough that I'll never try and move it myself.

They also carry Superior... Their website is horrible, best to make the trip up.

I got my Champion over $600 cheaper by going to Shamrock Safe's up in Litchfield vs. Safe and Knife Co. Pat up there really can dish out the deals. His showroom isn't anything special (a barn) but he was supurb to work with. I got a lot more safe for my money by making the hour and a half drive from the cities.

I too bought my safe from Safe & Knife in Rogers, and yes, they always have free shipping. But they do have some of the nicest safes around. They where very nice, and I am very happy with them. Just don't ask to see the knives...

She's a beauty!!!! Did you get a dehumidifier? And if your looking for interior lighting, I just used under cabinet light strips from Menards, or if you want something cordless Costco has these cool motion activated LED lights that are battery powered. They work great, we have one in the out house at the cabin..

Very Nice! Love that Birch wood two tone paint (same as mine). Quality safe for the money. You'll notice how nice it really is after you get it home then see others in the stores. Definitely get what you pay for. I see you got the taller one- wish I had, but I know I'll need another some day anyways. Those door pouches are handy- standard on this safe. Get yourself some hockey pucks (4) for keeping off the floor. Less than 10$ I think at sports store. Have fun- you'll be in and out that thing a lot!

Funny, I didn't even see a knife there (and I LOVE knives!)

Looking at superior master series 50 gun safe.

He threw in a dehumidifier and a nice light kit at no extra charge. I actually went to the store 3 months back looking for a new knife, the owner was such a nice guy, that it was the first place I thought of when my wife asked me to buy a gun safe.
