I first did a $25 donation. (Really easy.) I really didn't want to go through the hassle of joining another organization at first.

Then after reading and learning more I thought, well, why not? You can't help but be really impressed by the performance in these hearings.

So, I signed up to join, filled out all the info and did the $30 membership.

I can't afford a lot, but I figure every little bit helps. Plenty more of this fight ahead.

I also am very impressed and thankful there is a organization such as GOCRA. I am going to become a member and let everyone I shoot with know about them and what the have done.

I have admittedly been out of the gun laws/legal issues loop for quite awhile, only coming back into it in the past few years, but GOCRA showed up on my radar screen large and bold this last week, and has both impressed me and gained my loyalty!!

I tracked down their website and read up on their goals, framework and intentions and will be joining in the next month also. I cannot thank them (and anyone else) enough for being at the Capitol this past week, in there slugging it out for all of us that own and enjoy firearms on any legal level!!!

I am just weighing what level I will join at, but it's not an if, just when and how much I will spend with them. Again, GOCRA, a HUGE and hearty THANK YOU from the heart for working so damned hard for all of us this past week!!! It pleased me to no end to see you in there pitching and throwing hardballs at the anti-gun batters. I felt that everyone of your points were dead center in the strike zone and they were just whiffing left and right at them with limp wristed swings!!!

Job well done, and keep up the great attitude and CAN DO approach. You gained a lifelong supporter by working hard this week!!!

I now consider GOCRA every bit as important as the NRA at this fight. While I appreciate that the NRA does some local work, they are far more effective in Washington. Our local advocacy group here at home is made up of people that live here, some their whole lives, and they understand the local culture and history. It's far more impressive that when testimony is presented and people pressure the politicians of this state, that the people doing these things are neighbors and friends.

I will attempt to make as many rallies and meetings as possible, and will continue to pressure my reps through all communication means necessary, but my financial support is guaranteed. Thanks GOCRA!
