It's pretty simple. Buy if you like the price and don't buy if you don't like the price. If the market will bear $42 a box and he can get it at wally world for half that more power to him. Guessing even at wally prices they are currently less than what they can buy them for wholesale IF they can even get them. Pretty typical mark up on most products that have low margins.

IMO Many small stores are going to be pushed out of the market because they don't rate high enough on the wholesalers list to get good buys or scarce items at all.

I am calling this post bogus, I have checked Walmart in Monticello every day for a over a month, and talking to the counter guys they haven't had 22lr for a long time.

You can't find ammo when you go there because the Element Arms guys are paying the minimum wage earning Walmart employee a kickback to call them and hold the stock in the back room for them. ;)

Yes, it's all part of the vast conspiracy to prevent people in the Maple Grove - St. Cloud corridor from getting their hands on rimfire ammo...

I was in there last week and they just received a handful of DPMS AR-15's....price under $800. Not too many people on this site sell for fair prices. I think the post is about buying are reselling is BS. Go after the fools on this board that buy are resell at rediculous prices. $50 bucks for hi-cap mags, over two thousand for a Beretta Storm Carbine, etc.........

So you are in favor of them selling the lower priced AR15's but against them buying ammo at Wally and re-selling it - probably same percentage of kinds of mark-ups but purchased elsewhere? They all buy from somewhere so buying and re-selling is how it works. Not following what it is you are really trying to say.

I don't think the seller is ever the fool no matter the price. If there is a fool involved in over inflated prices it's the buyer. Are you blaming guys on the forum for selling at what the market will bear or ??

Larry,

I'm sure you're right. They probably buy those AR's from local companies that:

Have them in stock
Are too stupid to raise the price
