if you're dying for a shield, and just can't find one, take a look at the bersa bp9cc. i had a 19c, couldn't get the hang of it... pf9, too freaking involved to get it back together a cleaning... soooo, i tried the bp9cc.
less than an inch thick, 9mm , single stack, and no stupid safeties, loaded chamber indicator, conceals fantastically, the trigger has a crisp and TINY reset, and it actually fits my hands.

sorry for the rant... i really like this thing.

Get your name on lists at all your local places for X gun.

Add to Cart or put your email in those "Notify Me" things on all the sites you're willing to buy from.

I had notifies in at BudsGun and BudsPolice both. Then, going from 3rd to 1st on the list, got one local, $430 out the door with tax.

Shields have been going for 500+ on Gunbroker since they were released early last year. S&W simply can't keep up. Want it now, gotta pay for it. If you can search multiple times a day you'll find one sooner or later at or below retail.

Kbid for guns makes even armslist's recent nuttiness look sane. Good luck getting these shields through kbid at a reasonable price.
