I would like to think that he is being honest in this, and not trying to use the fear mongering and current political climate like that. But, I could (and probably am) wrong.

I'd be more impressed if they pulled out of California also.

There are a lot of folks that look down their nose at Oly. I have a K8 that is consistant and accurate. Is it a run and gun set up(M4gery)? No, it is set up for distance and my comfort. It has never had an issue. I also have one in 45 acp that is an absolute hoot to shoot. For me it ties a carbine and pistol eating the same diet together and logisticly I have one less item to worry about. DId I mention it was fun to bump shoot from the shoulder the recoil is light enought that I will use it to introduce the platform from kids to adults that are recoil sensitive. On a side note, you can get a lower from OLY to go with their pistol calibers that will take glock mags. Pretty cool to have a carbine and pistol not only using the same ammo but the same mags as well...

My first AR is an OLY that was used. Replaced $ 12 worth of mag catch and spring and was very reliable ever since. I have owned that rifle for 25 plus years.

We need more gun related companies to make public statements and to present a unified front. The politicals understand $$$$$$ !

Period.

• Be assured that Olympic Arms will not rest in its efforts to educate our customers, fans and followers the extent of the hypocrisy committed by the FOP and FOP Journal (fighting to outlaw the firearms produced by the very companies they now solicit for advertising dollars…). You can also be certain that we continue to make every effort to properly educate the firearms consumer in general, of the same.
• Additionally, we will make continued efforts at assure that ALL firearms manufacturers are aware of the FOP's support to strip Constitutional Rights from Americans, and their support of further unconstitutional gun control legislation.
• We pledge to inform all of our customers the lengths that the FOP and associated FOP affiliates by proxy (which includes all your advertisers)are willing to go to in order to strip the American Citizen of their Constitutional Rights, while at the same time writing in exemptions to the same legislation to ensure that their members maintain those same rights they would have stripped from others.
• Your actions are the actions of a rogue organization supporting tyranny, not an organization sworn to uphold the laws of the land, to protect, serve and defend their constituencies.

Undoubtedly, Colorado HB2441 will be amended as it works its way through the process so that Magpul could still manufacture 20-30 round magazines. Now...whether or not they wish to and want to take that chance, that's another story.

I'd buy an Olympic rifle today to support them if there were any to be had on the market right now.
You literally have to show up at a store when they are unloading their stock order to get an opportunity to purchase.

They all need to stand up, and flat out tell the government that if they enact a ban, they will cease any and all dealings with any law enforcement agency in the United States. I think if they did that, this would all come to an end. But the problem is, how can you get every manufacturer on the same boat? One will say, gosh, let everyone else do it, we can make big dollars if we take over all government contracts. It's virtually impossible.
