I had a Bulldog 44 SP that I gave to my brother because I didnt enjoy shooting it.

I just got an alaskan as well. You will be amazed at how shootable it is. I have been looking for smaller grips for mine as well. The double action isn't too bad either.

That was fun and I love it! I shot about 25 35 rounds and MnGunGuy shot about 10.

there's a rental gun of the Nightguard 44mag at Bill's Robbinsdale... i LOVE that gun. had a gent pick up the 8 shot 357 version a few days ago, that was pretty damn sweet too.

Model 329 Night Guard? The grips look strange.

Can you tell approximately what you paid for it?

It was brand new in the case for $960 at Arnzen. I paid less after my trade in negotiations but not much...I just had to have it.

The grips are supposed to look like mine from what I have seen. http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/ ... rrorView_Y

Thanks for the info. I was looking at this one: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIt ... =328846907

I actually like the grip style on it better, but for a snubnose I can't bring myself to pay that much yet.

At least it's not a semi-auto that'll give you slidebite each shot. :)

I really want one of those, but I really can't wrap my head around those prices. I'll get used to it eventually, I suppose...

Is it for Carry? Just wondering how easy it is to get accurate follow up shots with that beast!

If you don't hit them, blind them, and/or deafen them on the first shot, your second shot will take a little while. Rent the 329 at bills and see what you think.

Outstanding choice! The (ported) scandium 329NG is what I carry the most, think I posted it before:

My G19 is my EDC. but once I get a holster for the NG it may take its place, at least on occasion. I need to be more accurate with it before that happens, and resolve in my brain that 6 shots will be enough.
