I said it last week. I saw Colt LE6920 AR15 at a gunshop for 1329... At Bills it was 2079... And i saw them on armslist for 2000-2500... Someone is going to get stuck with something. And that's good. Sick of people who buy them only to think they are going to make money. What if that gun ends up in the wrong hands? I wonder if some of those people who are buying and reselling, even check for ptp/ptc? But, i give it a little while yet. When credit card bills come in and they are more than they can afford, you will see some awful cheap guns.

I have wondered that myself. I can't believe that much of it is still selling, especially with the AWB fizzling at the federal and state level here.

I hope that somebody out there bought a nice upper for an AR and won't be able to sell it for the inflated price and will get desperate to pay off the credit card.... preferably a .22 LR, 9mm ,or .300 BLK one.

Realistically though there was not a whole lot of "gotta sell this 'cuz I am in over my head" after the 2008 panic wore off. I am sure some stuff will be out there for the real enthusiasts to pick up at a reduced rate but my guess is that a lot of it will end up in the recesses of people's closets never again to see the light of day.

I think it's finally starting to subside as well, although I think we all know it's just one dumbass away from getting real bad again. That being said, I've managed to snag a couple Smith's from GB the last week for under $400 each.
