Did this vote really Happen?

I didn't hear about a full senate vote yesterday - SF 339, "Memorializing President and Congress to respect and not violate the
2nd Amendment." Failed on a straight party line 38-26. Rural DFLers in lockstep with their metro party members.

The vote wasn't on passage - it was on taking the bill out of committee and moving immediately to the floor for consideration.

The bill hasn't been presented or heard in committee yet. So this was a vote on the motion.

The DFL line is that they voted no on procedural ground not on substance.
