I currently have a Saturn, and have owned nothing but GM's my whole life... Even before watching that video I was thinking this may very well be my last GM.

Somebody mind giving a quick synopsis to those who are not able to access "harmful websites"?

I will be in the market for a vehicle and would be interested in making the "right" decision. I was under the impression that Government Motors paid back their "loan" - seems I saw a commercial that contained that statement.

Got my last Gm product in 2000. A pickup ext cab 4x4. After it blew a transmission with 50000 something miles and a lot of other stuff that has cost me $$.
I was never going to buy another .Plus they took Tax payer money to bail out their bad union deals .
I took a vow never to buy another vehicle from them ever. Under any circumstance!

Thought of buying a GM car lately? …….

I drive a 2006 duramax diesel, it has 152,000 miles on it. It dynoed 600hp and 1200 lb ft of torque. Goes to the race track to race, plows snow, and hauls materials for my construction business. It's also pulled a 34' enclosed trailer with a full size dogde(bad tranny...weird) to Arizona. Still going strong with only wear items replaced (brakes, wheel bearings, etc). It's been an awesome truck! Plus it gets over 20 mpg :-O I have owned nothing but GM.

General Motors, like a lot of US companies (including Ford) makes a lot of cars in China.

The only new GM vehicle I ever bought new was in 1987 and my first wife got that in the divorce. Last GM car I owned was a '69 Cutlass convertible and that was in '03. I've owned mostly Fords my whole life and it will stay that way.

Here's a test for everyone who owns an "American" car or truck. Check the first digit of your car or truck's VIN# if it is anything other than a 1 it was made outside the US.

As for GM expanding into China, they'd be foolish not to. China is an enormous and expanding market.
I will never apologize for being an American.

I have a Ford product that has a vin starting with 8 and it was built in Lorain, Ohio. It's a '68 Mercury so maybe that doesn't count. :D

My 2013 Kia is made in West Point, Georgia - USA. If you exclude the components made in Canada I believe it has more US made parts than my GMC Yukon...
