Not that it matters, but why would she be selling him back an item that belonged to him? Confused...

There's no law stating that one must sell a firearm to someone else; just as there's no law stating you can't sell a firearm to someone else, provided that people involved aren't legally prohibited. The fact that the woman sold a firearm to her ex-husband who is abusive means she made a really stupid choice, but it's her choice and my opinion. I also think that she should have kept it to defend herself against him if it ever came to that because abusers are some of the most insecure lowlifes there are. In fact, I place them only slightly over pedophiles, neither of which would or could I ever have any kind of sympathy for.

Of course logic doesn't apply when it comes to Domestic Abuse. Ask any LEO (feel free to chime in here tman......); any LEO will tell you they HATE going on Domestic calls because when they arrest the abuser, often times the first one to come to their aid and defense is the abused. WTF is up with that?? No logic. No sense. That's what happens though many times.

My wife's ex-husband abused her years ago, she moved on in life in many ways, but she still has some physical and emotional scars from it all. She kept giving him chances and she should have got out of it much sooner than she did, but she wanted to save the marriage. He was ok at the start and for years during the marriage, and in fact, he was never abusive until years later when he became mentally ill. (It turns out it runs in his side of the family, so far so good with her adult kids are are all ok.) Plain and simple, he went effen crazy.

When my wife's ex died in January 2013, I rejoiced at his death. My only regret is that his suffering wasn't more painful and slower than it was. I would have enjoyed seeing that as well, but I never met the p.o.s, which a good thing too. I also have a now-ex-friend who is in prison for abuse, hopefully karma is named "Bubba" and giving him his own special kind of pounding of prison love and justice. So to use the phrase from Kevin O'Leary, he's dead to me. Goodbye.

I think that lady needs to get some help mentally, emotionally, physically, maybe get a Rottweiler or something along with a gun; but nothing is going to protect her from herself and her stupid choices. No one but she can do that. I wish her the very best. She's going to need it.

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner! The desert eagle was also his, but the courts decided that it was now her's. And she traded it to me... So now it's mine!

OK, I Missed the "bolded portion". The reaoson for that part was that those familiar wtih the justice system know that one of the worst things about it is skanks who can't help but take things personally. Whether she does it for her own political goals or decides to for some other personal reason to tyr to build a name for herself or is tyring to "get back" at the defendant because she thinks that he fits her profile of whatever she loathes or because he reminds her of all those boys and men who never took a second look at her and deeply regretted the first look.

Just calling it like it is. If you think that somehow equates to "having issues", then well.. you know... someone actually does have issues.

They voted obama in. Twice. "Ron Burgundy" doesn't appear to see anything wrong with that...

I'm tempted to start a poll and query who saw the humor in my remark and who missed it....

If that's actually true, then I'm tempted to inquire what would cause anyyone to mis·con·strue that someone missed the humor.
(Although there is absolutely nothing funny about the election results or the direction the contry is headed, so maybe that's where your impression of missing humor came from).

You're silly. I don't support your anger against women but you have a standing offer for a free hug should we ever meet.

 <==== there isn't a hugging emoticon, so this'll do.

I don't actually have any anger against women in general. I love women in general.

I am pretty sure that I would much prefer  over a hug.
