Eotech XPS2

Discussion of rifles, shotguns, and muzzleloaders

I just picked up a used Eotech 552 yesterday. Holo is pretty cool, but too unfamiliar for comparison. I find the housing ugly and clashing with the AR. Kind of like a digital dash in a classic car.Other optics are an Aimpoint Comp C3 and Ultradot 6. I like the U6 reticle choices and seems to acquire targets as quickly as the C3. Aimpoint has a crisper, more tunable point. No preference between the tubes, though the Aimpoint rep gets the nod if the SHTF.

Now if only BCG's come back in stock so I can finish my builds and actually use the things.

Yeah, I didn't know black on black clashed. I'm gonna hurry and take it off!

Stylewise, my man. Black on black is the reason I can live with it. Plus it looks fine from behind. My dad used to faithfully wax the hood of his rusty '66 Polara. I can empathize now.

Anyone who does not find AR's sexy needs some hormone therapy. Maybe if I think of the holo as horned rims on the foxy librarian.

Fashion show? Hell yes! There are three things males have a passion for dressing up; One takes gas, one takes ammo and the third maxes out credit cards.

Your newer EO is much cuter than my big box. And sleeves from Knight's wear always look good on the arms.

Those are actually Troy panels. Similar to the KAC panels but the Troy locking tabs are plastic whereas the KAC ones are metal. Both are high quality bits. 8-)
