Admitted it, it IS harder to find it online now than even a month or two ago, agreed.... however it IS out there to be had. It's not easy to find, it's not cheap, but it IS out there to be had.

During the pre-panic time I also stocked up so I didn't have to worry. That's why I'm not stressing the 5,250 .22LR on back-order, because I had 4-5x in my inventory already. For the .45ACP, I had 1,500 rounds on-hand as well when I ordered 2,000 more. It's called pre-planning. That's why I'm not panicking. Don't let yourself ever get that low.

Like where? That .45 ammo is WAY over priced and the .22 ammo CTD has been selling is also at gougers prices. You may have done well online in January....but now it's usually gone or priced high enough to be in stock.

I never said it'd be cheap.

Agreed. Last year I spent 10k getting my guns, classes/training, PTC, ammo, cleaning supplies, club membership, NRA membership, other things as well. This year I've dropped a good $2,500 in Q1. (that's the ammo I bought online and another gun I purchased but need to pick up and pay for yet.)

Evad wrote:It's all over if you want to pay the price. 22 is the hardest to find still. And for me, available and triple what I want to pay doesn't make a good combo. I'll ration before I spend some of the prices I see. While I can see paying extra for 22 for a while, I'd rather not forever or it loses some of it's benefit.

I can find ammo, I can even buy it at those prices if I want...I don't want.

I refuse to add up what I have spent. I will be pushing a grand in reloading components shortly...and I haven't bought a press yet.

FYI, I see .45 regularly at various FF's. They had Magtech 250 rounds boxes for $99 at FF in Oakdale and Carver last week.

Pretty sad that we call $16 per 50 rounds WWB "reasonable" these days. I paid $16.99 regularly for 45 ACP last summer.

I agree 150%, but today just over 30 cents/round and available is good. I am seeing 9mm target ammo north of 60 cents/round. Seeing .40 and .45 target ammo pushing 80 cents/round isn't rare.

Yeah right.....$20 a box for ammo that normally goes for $6.99 a box. No thank you. I'm not hurting that much.

I've had 700 rounds of PMC Bronze 9mm listed for almost 24 hours at 31 cents a pop ($220 for the lot) no takers - either I suck at posting FS, 9mm is not as hard to find as people are making it seem, or nobody likes driving to the north side of town. :)

I'm surprised. The stuff I posted sold out fast!

Fleet Farm does not carry ammo any longer, they just have empty shelves where ammo used to be and even those are getting converted to other uses.
