3-gun Match - Dust em' off

I am still thinking on going to this, but my batman utility belt is lacking. think I will catch much hell for carrying my shotgun shells in a SAW gunners pouch?

I bet less then me carrying them in a cargo pocket. It's my first time and don't have any shell holders yet. Same goes for AR mags.

You don't have to be decked out to be there. Use what you have and train with that. It can really help you for real world training.

My showing up is really dependant on the wife's willingness to play along. she is gone for work all week at a inservice somewhere downtown MPLS.

I see this as one of those moments. Maybe take along a .22 rifle and .22 handgun and let your wife join in on the fun. If she places higher than you on the score card, well, you will just have to live with that one.

Range condition, plowing taking place Thursday, ice, mud and rutted snow to be expected

Got to test out some new range props last night, Thanks to Drazy Metal Works, they should add some challenge for the rifle, just have to keep Jomar away from them with his .308

MNGunGuy, I have a 2-pouch mag pouch coming in the next day or so that may fit the AR mags. If so, you're welcome to use it. You can't take my cargo pants though.

If it makes you feel any better, I only break targets with my 308 at major matches.

Fellas, if you are new to 3 gun, show up with what you have, by the end of the day you will have had so much fun you will forget that you loaded out of your jacket. There will probably be only 1 or 2 rifle mag changes. Shotgun loading equipment will be avail for purchase at the match, you might want to bring a checkbook.

I will have several 4 round 12 ga. caddies with techlock belt attachment (can easily be switched from shooter to shooter) that people can borrow. I just need to make sure I get them back by the end of the day. First come, first served, so you might want to come help with setup if you want a chance to borrow some. See how that works? Dangle the carrot and voila' work gets done

FWIW I've got a CR Speed rig with CompTac gear for an XDM 5.25 if anyone needs it...
