The silhouette is the same as win231. Winchester stopped selling it. I have seen a lot of praise for it, but your lead comment is the first I have seen. I appreciate it.

Did you mean that Winchester stopped selling W231? Bought a pound in December and another in February, is there something I missed? this is my main powder for the .45's and use it for the 10mm.
Why do it your self today, when you you can delegate it to someone else. MLLNHD 2/1/13

I do not believe so. They still list it on their product website.

This is my "go to" powder also. My 8# Jug should last me a few years. 8-)

After reading this I was in the area so I stopped by frontiersmen to pick up a pound of Unique to try. Sure enough, they had NONE. I did manage to pickup some 6 mm Amax and a nice 50 Cal Ammo Can, but no Powder. They had NO Primers either (I don't count Blunderbuss Primers)

Silhouette is (supposedly) the same as Win. Action Pistol. Call/email Western and ask.
HP38 and Win231 are the same. I highly doubt Hodgdon will stop selling either.
