I am sure this has been asked before, but what should I bring for shotgun ammo?

Also, I know the neighbor with the horses there, he's our UPS delivery driver. I told him about it and he said he might just have to go fishing. you SCAPSA guys still having issues with him?

Any trap load that works in your gun, nothing larger than 7 1/2 shot

Jay, Brian or Jomar: We're supposed to get 1-3 inches tonight, and 3 inches plus tomorrow night. Will that affect anything as far as ability of range to host this (or possible last minute decision), or will we be good to go do you think?

(Not affecting this, but more fun Sun into Monday, they now say 6+ inches of the white stuff. This spring is one of those times I'm glad I live on a virtual desert beach, even though the water bill suck by the end of summer, or the grass is a fire hazard!)

Hey, maybe a shotgun stage where you shoot snowballs out of the sky!

Be careful what ammo you have. You cannot shoot steel core, penetrator rounds at steel targets.

For shotgun any trap loads will work fine. Lead shot only, no buckshot, no steel shot. Also bring 10 slugs as there will be a few slug targets.

If the Green Bay Packer fans can shovel out the entire Lambaue Field I think 50 - 60 hearty Minnesota folks can shovel out a little shooting range. Come on!

Seriously, it has been a long winter. I am going down there to shoot rain, sleet, snow, shine, mud, ice, or whatever.

Hey, I'll be there come hell or the runs! (Crohn's dz. can be a bisnatch sometimes). Just pull me out of the ditch if I need it please!

I'll bring the chains and snap ropes if you go in the ditch :)

Is this colder weather do you actually wear any type of "shooting" gloves? I know there are a few brands out there that make a glove that feels and grips like skin, but many/most others I would think could cause issues with safe gun handling. I'm guessing gloves are not allowed but I figured I's ask...

Wear gloves if you want, if it is cold I do.

No rule against gloves
Some will use hand warmers in their pockets up til the time to shoot

Don't worry about the cold, you will be running around so much resetting steel and pasting targets you will probably work up a sweat. :D

See Y'all tomorrow moring.
