Even down here nobody is buying his story. Lots of eyerolling going on.

Where is "down here?"

Phoenix. The New Phoenix Times, which is as liberal of a newspaper as I've ever seen, even isn't giving him lip service.

I imagine he was a regular gun guy before his wife was shot.

This must be hardest thing in the world for him. I would have a difficult time NOT supporting my wife's position, given the same circumstances. I certainly wouldn't fight her.

(I'd likely make my gun purchases a bit less publicly, too).

In a somewhat unrelated matter: Watch him interact with his wife during public appearances. He is her anchor. Watch the body language..I think she'd be completely lost in public without him.

I thought I'd read some where (on the interweb, so in has to be true, right?), that she was pro gun BEFORE the shooting?

She used to be and even shot an AR! But the "mainstream" media won't print photos like this.

Cut them a LOT of slack.

Sending that picture does NOTHING. The fact that she enjoyed shooting before her assault means nada.

She was shot in the head by a crazy guy. She's allowed to have whatever beliefs on guns she wants after that - without being considered a flip-flopper.

Oh, I aggree 110%, but, I also think they are getting pushed in the limelight by a bunch of anti's who want to have negative views of guns paraded as often as possible too! I didn't notice a bunch of free press when Gabby went-a-shootin.

I expect these people to be hypocritical. It's just how it is, although it is entertaining to point out.

There was a thread at the evil-black-handgun-forum-that-shall-not-be-named, which listed rabidly anti-gun celebs who had a certain evil black handgun registered to them. It was a long thread

I read a rumor somewhere that said Gabby Giffords was aggressively pursuing indictments in the Fast & Furious scandal before she was shot. Apparently Judge Roll was also involved (the judge sitting next to her who was shot to death). Anyone else hear anything along those lines?
