Thanks, like I said, I didnt make it all the way around the ring. I picked up what I came for and left.

One of my co-workers came up to me after the last show and started to pull a business card out of his pocket. I saw the black and white color of the car and started to inform him of the problems I had with them.. he continued with but they had everything when others didnt, to which I replied, there is a reason for that. Take it as you will.

Years ago I read Robert Ludlum's "The Bourne Identity". In it the hero is found floating in the sea, half-dead, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. He has nothing with which he could be identified, other than the number of a safety deposit box in a Swiss bank. Eventually, he opens the box, having no memory of what was in it.

He finds hundreds of thousands of dollars, pounds sterling, francs, deutch marks, etc. And a bunch of passorts and a gun.

The movie has a similar scene, except that it has euros instead of the pre-euro currencies.

Now I can't tell you how many times I've been digging through the attic or the basement and found a box, and not remembered what I'd put in it. And on not a single instance did it turn out that I'd stuffed it with cash. It never seemed fair, somehow.

But all of that changed, a couple of weeks ago. I was digging around in the basement and I found the old range box I used to use for pistol shooting. I had no memory of what was in it. So I opened it up.

In it I found two unopened 500-round boxes of .22LR match target ammo.

I was there Sunday and thought it was good. I found a couple of books I wanted, a good price on bayonets and scabbards for my Arisakas and Krags, and bought a Husquavarna in 9.3x62 for a really good price- much less than a new Savage 110. A couple boxes of Norma ammo at $20/box I considered a good price too. Lastly, I was able to find a couple boxes of lead bullet for my 40 S&W for $90 total.
There were a number of over priced items as always but as has been said, know what you want and what you want to pay. What I really wanted but couldn't find was a 28 ga reloader. I should have bought the one I saw a few weeks back as it is the only one I've seen in months.
