MN universal background checks

Postby ForeverTwoWheels on Fri Mar 22, 2013 7:13 am

Well this forum may be a lot less useful unless we stand up for our rights. Some committee of thugs decided last night that they're going to include language that would make all of us who strike a deal with our private property to go to a FFL and pay him his bribe and probably some tax to the government just to make a sale.

This is obnoxious considering most of us check permits and do a bill of sale because its the logical and responsible way to do business in this area. Call your rep and let them know that you disagree with this legislation.

And why are we supprised? We basically gave them the ammo on why this is a good idea with the bills we supported.

I say call your reps and tell them NO new gun regs regardless of if it is supported by Paymar or Cornish.

Huh? What are you talking about? The thing that passed last night requires you to show a ptp or ptc when buying a gun from a private seller at gun shows. No FFL business. Yet.

That's not what was passed out of the house committee. What bill are you referring to?
