Wanted to let the group know of an upcoming Friends of the NRA banquet. Great chance to get a night out and maybe win some guns…

Are all these items that will be 'given away' actual door prizes or are they up for bid on a silent auction?

Taurus PT Slim 740 (.40 S&W) is a door prize. Others will be auctions and games etc... Also other non-firearm items that will be available, silent, and live auction. $40 to eat and have a chance at a Taurus, just for showing up. Money raised goes to support high-school trap teams, Boy-Scouts, Youth Firearms Safety Training, Shooting Range Improvement, etc...

DPMS AR-15 - Need not be present to win, tickets available any time (drawing when 150 sold or night of banquet if 150 not sold)

Armalite AR-30 (.338 Lapua) - Need not be present to win (drawing when 300 sold or at last banquet of year if 300 not sold)

Taurus PT Slim 740 (.40S&W) - Need not be present to win (drawing at banquet)

All others tickets are only being sold at the banquet and drawn that night...

It would sure be nice with this and all the other notifications from the NRA to attend these Friends of NRA meetings if their web site that you order tickets on would work!

We are indeed having website issues. However, if you send me an e-mail at eric0397@hotmail.com I can get you set up. Basically we either need to do it by check or I can manually enter cc info into the system, but i prefer to only do that over the phone so that we are not sending numbers through e-mail.
