... ouch. The spanking in the last couple of posts is impressive. ;)

:deadhorse:

No kidding. The limit is one box of 100 or more anyway. And this guy started the thread on "the panic"?

It was all gone with in an hour from what the store employee told me.

They said there was 20 to 30 people that all came in close to the same time and all the LR was gone 20 minutes later.

Seems there is a lot of truth about the lurckers on our forum grabbing intel on where the ammo is.

I was there at 6 pm that night and nothing available accept some Federal 209 primers and a lot of Remington .45 personal defence stuff.

Not true! I know first hand as I was there at 0900, 1200 and 1600. First trip alone then with my girlie friend then with my other girlie friend. I got my one box each visit tho. So did my girlie friends. There was quite a bit still there when I left. Might have been gone by time you were there, but they had it in two locations so maybe you missed it? Don't worry tho, I will NOT be posting when I see it NO more.

Lol, seriously? Why don't you just stop by the old folks home with a bus and buy them all a cup of coffee then give them a $10 bill to go in and buy you some .22 ammo?

This thread is awesome

I was too slow, although a family member called and gave me the heads up.

Why did you need more ammo? Thought you sold yours off at a hefty mark-up after "getting rid of your .22" per the thread below? Who you callin' vulture? ;)

I got stopped at the counter with 12 boxes of ammo. They gave me the "I'm sorry, the limit is 10 per person under 100rds". Oh, I was trying to buy enough bird shot for the first half of the year. :D

Well Reed's has a 20 case min to get their big discount at the gun fair this year. Problem is they still have not found out how many skids they can get or a price per case for their big discount sale.

I have called them several times, so I was just going to run to FF and buy my 15 cases there.

Guess I can't do that either, just one case a day!!!

I bought 1 box of .357 magnum last Saturday. They had 5 boxes left. Limit 4. But at $26 per box (Blazer aluminum case) I only got one. Just wanted to have a box so I could test fire my new Taurus I got. It works.

They also had some American Eagle .45 Long Colt in the cause, but I'm not paying $50 per box for that. Ain't nobody got time for that.

That actually makes BulkAmmo.com's 20 rounds of Wolf .223 for $18 look reasonable.

Just opened some ammo cans in storage.
Found Remington 9 1/2 primers from Capra's for $14.49 per thousand dated 12/22/93.
Found Winchester Large Rifle primers from Old Airport Sports for $16.00 per thousand dated 11-30-94.
Found receipt for Federal 210 LR primers from unknown for $11.00 per thousand dated 1 Aug 85.
Got others around somewhere, never thought about posting them before.
Panic will be over when we get back to these price ranges.

Anybody need LR primers ?
All primers are stored in ZipLoc bags in Sealed Ammo cans.
Prices adjusted for inflation - or make me an offer.

Purposely not listed in MarketPlace, so you can ask questions, or make offers by PM.
Not an auction. These primers are about 20 years old or more.

The last LRP's I bought were from Cabala's grand opening in Owatanna, $9.95 per 1000.
I will never apologize for being an American.

I will confirm Nebraska is as bad off as we are. We hit guns unlimited, sheels, and Bass Pro Shops this weekend. Pretty bleak. :-(

Just a little humor to inject into this cruddy guns and ammo shortage, but...shouldn't one of those stores rename itself...Guns LIMITED...lol. :D
