Nothing in Owatonna but bird shot. Get it while it's hot!
That goes for FF and Cabelas.

FF Lakeville had at least 50+ packs of Blazer 500 poks 22lr. I was able to score 4 of them but left plenty. They also had a few of the Federal 223 100 pks and Rem UMC 9mm hollow point 100pks and .45 100 pks. Things are turning around! I might need to think about an addition to the storage closet :)

The 22 was $18. The 223 was 37 or 38... didnt buy since walmart has it for about $5 cheaper and I already have over 1k of the 223. The remington was behind the counter and because there were so many people there I didn't get a price. I picked up a box of 100rnds of the 9mm JHP at walmart last weekend for $31.

I had the girl with and got a box each then went back in and got two more of the 22s. Apparently the stuff is still selling well if you didnt see it. I have a hard time believing it all sold that fast but it was nuts to butts so Im not terribly surprised. :/

I got drug to Walmart today, and wandered by the gun counter. I heard someone ask about .223 and they were out. I ended up chatting with the guy behind the counter, he said they had stocked a pile of it last night, and there were folks lined up at 7 am, and they were sold out by 9 am. He wished people would stop paying inflated prices so that the incentive to short the supply chain would go away.

He and girlfriend = one each (2), drop them in the car, come back in the store, repeat... there's 4 bricks.

That's what these threads are all about, after all, bragging about cleaning out a store after the fact and/or tipping off the local Armslist/Gunbroker crowd where the hot ticket is at the moment.

Honestly, for what this stuff resells for it only makes sense to not only nuke any local sightings ASAP to lock up the supply chain but move it right away... $50-$70 a brick for something you paid $20 out the door for is a huge profit.

Unless retailers start pricing bricks of .22 in the $40-50 range the resellers and hoarders own the market, period.

It's more than that. After I transferred a revolver to my uncle last week, we were discussing ammo prices/shortage. He said he had 6 bricks and wanted me to sell a couple for him on Gunbroker. I listed two bricks for him and they went for $230 for the pair....

Fleet farm... Alot of circus peanuts and fishing lures.. No ammo because some chimps by it all to sell it on armslist.. Do people not have dayjobs? Sign of the times I guess.

I have found and purchase exactly 50 rounds of 40 in the past 3 months. Pitiful. Scalpers can rot for buying and not needing. Luckily, I am a bit of a prepper and NEED nothing. Although, 45 would be nice. :D
Well, when I see 5 weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of 100 people, I shoot the bastards. That's my policy.
