.22 Ammo Production Video

I thought this was a neat video about how they make rimfire ammo out at CCI.

Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

Wow, 4 million rounds a day. That's almost 1.5 billion rounds a year.
I will never apologize for being an American.

Now imagin Federal,Remington, and Orlin(winchester) are larger and may make more. So how can there be a shortage I wonder.

There should be 5 or 6 billion rounds per year being made if they all are equal, not to mention the rest of the world manufactures.

If a cool video says (part 1 of 2) I feel compelled the watch the second.

Okay...

Now build a couple dozen more factories.

Why would any business invest millions and millions in permanent facilities and equipment to meet a temporary spike in demand?
Before you'll know it, things will be exactly the way they were: you will see bricks of 22LR sitting on store shelves at regular prices and you will leave them sitting there.

Well, when you hear all these bleeding heart liberals talk about how they aren't giving up their "fight" for gun control and making it a 2014 election issue; I haven't seen a box of any kind of .22 in almost 5 months, the weather is warming up, there's still legislation that's still being pushed currently, I don't expect to see any full shelves, let alone regular prices anytime soon.

.22? Never heard of it. Looks like an interesting load.

Oh, never mind, I looked it up in my cartidges of the world book, it was under the "obsolete" section.

Man I wish somebody would bring that loading back. That would be a sweet plinker cartridge.
