Hey KA0OLD,
I spent an hour searching the MInneapolis City website to find a similar report for the Third Precinct. I did find 'crime maps' 'uniform FBI crime reports' and 'crime stats' but DID NOT ANYWHERE see a 'Digest' like the one you post here. Can you tell me where I could get that? or what it's called...it looks like a streamlined highlights of a weeks incidents. I don't intend to post it here, but our neighborhood has an email list of 100 and I think they would be interested. Thanks.

The last one.

Why would the gun be registered to her anyway? Not that she was right or anything, but that question strikes me as odd.

Also I had the funny thought that if the officer was 'overcome' by the scent of marijuana, does that mean he got a good secondhand high?

Why would the gun be Registered to her?

I'll bet the cop was just "fishing" for an (incriminating) answer. If she just bought it, where is the box, receipt, Bullets etc. Was it loaded?
She lied about not having any weapons, then it was discovered she had a weapon, proving she is a liar. smoking pot also, they wer probably up to no good.
probably the "Stolen" weapon recovered may be connected to her or someone in the car. I'll bed one of the "brothers" in the car dropped it in her purse.
To me it seems to be good police proceedure.

Yeah, I agree, I fully believe that they were up to no good, it just seems odd that the officer would ask if it was 'registered' to her since we don't have registration.
