Number of carry permits issued in MN reached a peak, too, not just overall, but in any one month.

We set a record, back in August 03, just after the law passed - 3918 permits issued. We never reached that level again.

Until January 2013, when we issued 4800.

And then we exceeded that in February, issuing 5676.

And then again in March, with 7213.

This isn't just more permits over the last three months, it's a lot more permits. As in three times as many as in the same months in the previous year.

But what really worries me isn't the number of guns being sold, or the stockpiling of ammo, or the numbers of carry permits.

It's the sudden influx of zip-gun how-to's that are showing up on YouTube.

I suspect that in large part, that's just a component of Darwinisn at work.

These numbers do more for gun rights than any letters we may write. ;-)
