I was wrong.

How about we try moving to Florida.

It's not the LAWS you necessarily have to worry about, it's how the laws are regulated.

With the few people gun company's employ, States could care less if they move out.

Actually I'm sure the libs would prefer they did move out.

More than a tradition, they have facilities that are long paid for, and would probably require a bunch of environmental cleanup if they were to leave. I bet it would be pricey for them to move.

Not if some other, friendlier state gave them some "incentives" to move as in huge tax breaks, deeply discounted land, or a promise of cheaper labor (i.e. non-union).

Maybe, but Mexico bans private ownership of firearms, so they're worse than CT...for now.

I disagree. These companies make a hefty sum of money. If they leave, that will hurt their tax revenue base. The libs may celebrate these companies leaving, but they will mourn the money they pushed out of state.

Don't think it's going to hurt? Look at the UAW crying already. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't file a grievance with the NLRB, against Colt, for Union busting tactics.

We will have to get rid of the Anti-Gun Liberal Demomcrats elected by the voters primarily in the seven county metro area, Duluth and the iron range maidens, along with those in Rochester first!

Then we will have to get rid of the "TAX & SPEND" Demoncrats also, it was truly a sad day last November when the voters of MN. gave the Demoncrats control of both legislative houses and the Governor's office.

I told my wife to hang onto our arses the Wednesday after the elections when we found out the Libratards had gained complete control of the state government.

Where is Jesse when we need him? O'h that's right the liberal Media and the coming tax increases drove him clear out of the state!

A firearms company that makes AR-15 style rifles for the iconic brand Colt, will open a plant in Breckenridge in Stephens County. Oregon company Bold Ideas confirmed the development Friday.

Bold Ideas goes by the name Colt Competition, making high accuracy rifles for competition shooting.

The company has not officially announced the opening, but employment applications are already available at the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce. A non-specific, help wanted ad appeared in the local newspaper classifieds earlier in the week.

Sources say Colt Competition will move into a large vacant industrial space on the north side of town, previously used by Karsten Homes to manufacture mobile homes.

The move by Colt Competition into Breckenridge comes as the CEO of Colt Manufacturing in Connecticut has said there will soon be few good answers to keep his company in the state. Connecticut passed some of the nation’s most restrictive gun laws this week.

It's the other way around, guy. Glock is all about LE sales in the US, not private citizens.

Do you have an article that shows this overwhelming market share for LE sales?

No article is needed. It's simply not possible. We have two or three cops in my little town (Dundas). I don't know if they carry Glocks or not, but I do know that there are at least five Glocks in private hands here. The only other town I can speak for is Northfield. Don't know how many cops they have, but even if they all carry Glocks, the private sector has them outnumbered (Glocks in posession). In other words, common sense just squashes the idea that 75% of Glock is LE. How many cops does Bloomington have? Just looked it up... 116 officers and 2 canine units. The population of the city is 85,000. I am absolutely sure that there are more than 118 Glocks among 85,000 citizens.
