Join me in a call for strict knife control laws

Postby yonse on Tue Apr 09, 2013 12:44 pm

14 injured & a dozen hospitalized in a spree stabbing at a college campus:

Join me in the call for strict knife control policies that will hopefully prevent this from happening again. Okay so this is a rather tongue-in-cheek response to a very unfortunate story and in no way do I mean to detract from what happened in Texas. But, Obama has promised to personally look at any petition that receives 100,000 or more signatures and I would like to know what his official response to a call for knife control laws would be. So I am inviting everyone to sign the petition to enact stricter knife control laws. We need 150 signatures before it will be publicly searchable. Feel free to re-post the link below elsewhere.

You don't know me, son, so let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Does my meat cleaver count as a military style assault knife?

Actually, there's already very strict "knife control" legislation ... search around on here, and ya'll find references to Minneapolis and St. Paul ordinances based on blade-length ... not sure at what level "automatics" are banned?!

A guy with a carry permit can carry a loaded pistol ... but not an "automatic" knife ... 'er one with a 5in blade!

If the *resident were to see such a petition, I have little doubt, he'd pursue it with great enthusiasm!

I don't care about knives.. I care about my Shuriken/Ninja stars (For you common white folk)

I want to be able to carry a concealed Katana and or shurikens
I'm not down with the republican party, or the democratic party. I represent the MI6

Don't bring a knife to a gun fright.

I saw this news on Fox. I switched to CNN and MSNBC to see what they had to say. BOTH channels were running a blurb at the bottom of the screen but talking about the coming gun debate in the Senate! Unbelievable! If it's not about guns, they don't care about it.

And I want to know how you intend to conceal a Katana? Why not a yari or naginata while you are at it! :D

A cop 1/2 block from me lost a finger tonight. Possible teeth ban?

Very sorry for this cop. :-(
