Depends on what kind of treatment we're talking here. Many people suffer from GAD and may be "treated" for the rest of their lives. This is just the next thing in line to blame. Nobody wants to blame a person so they seek out commonalities to blame; video games, music, drugs and the newest thing on the block is SSRIs. Your brain produces serotonin naturally, SSRIs block serotonin receptors because some people don't produce enough. If completely blocked bad things happen which is why it's closely monitored until a balance is reached. Some people with GAD, rather than seek professional help, reach for a bottle (Mark Dayton) or Valium (Robert McFarlane) and never reach that balance. So, should drunks and Valium users have their guns confiscated too? Tired of all the blame going around when it's the individual that is the problem. There are MILLIONS of people on SSRIs and benzodiazepines, is the REAL goal to confiscate everybody's gun? Who are they going to come after next? Get a speeding ticket...turn in your permit and gun you can't be trusted to own one...
