You and I have mentioned this many times over the last months. Funny how everybody said we were wrong and hated capitalism.

To be honest though these are to different issues. Someone who is a true capitalist would say that the regulation by the BATF is socialism at work. So your really are not proving your point.

True capitalism has been dead for a long long time in this country. There are stages of capaitialism in this country. There are laws and rules in which need to be followed. True capaitialism would allow anything to be sold at open market at any time.

So thanks but you're really are not proving your point.

Screw him. He's basically acting like an ffl without observing any of the rules or doing any of the hard work so many good hardworking folks did to be legit. He could have armed half the gangbangers in mpls for all we know.

My understanding was that they were refusing to renew, if your business address wasn't zoned commercial.

So, dude buys guns, then sells them, then gets busted and the "supposed" pro 2A crowd is like "ya, stick it to him, he deserves it"

:cogitating:

I think there are a large group on here who talked big about what they would do when the assult rifles got banned who would be lined up to turn them in when the law passed. That is what I think.

Is there a part of shall not be infringed that does not compute?

Those two scenarios aren't even worthy of comparison. He broke the law to profit. The molon labe crowd would break the law because of constitutional principle. If it comes out he broke the law in protest of the unconstitutional regulations of our 2a rights and didn't profit I will change my answer...

You said a lot more than that. In any case, I don't see how this guy could have been making profit. Sounds to me like he was supplying gang bangers or something. Otherwise, why wouldn't people just go buy them retail themselves?

He would, if he didn't have a store front, or if he was working out of his home and it wasn't zoned for a business.

I've lot's of guns in the last few months. I do not have a storefront. My ATF contact acted like it was a complete non-issue being home based, so long as I'm actively in the business and am not in violation of local ordinances.

If the coffee shop talk around here is correct,, while this person was a FFL holder - he was often under scrutiny for questionable paperwork and other such violations. Some of the weapons seized were located in "one" of his homes in nearby
Lake Crystal, MN and again this is all only speculation but coffee shop talk is he also owned a local gun store a few years ago in Mankato. Of course no names have been released - but you all know how small town talk goes!

IF thats who that is, I have heard stories that the ol' man was supplying gangbangers in Detroit or Chicago with arms when he got pinched and the kid took over. I dont have nothing to back that up though, so its rumors and hear say.

I bet this guy was a gouger and saw an opportunity to make as much money as possible in a short about of time.

He probably just bought every AR he could get his hands on at pre-panic prices and then sold them for a hefty profit during the height of the panic.

While I don't condone him being brought up on charges; it's also kind of funny seeing a gouger get screwed.

It was October. I doubt he was doing much gouging selling $600 ARs ;)
