Bullet Group Buy

Postby BigDog58 on Tue Apr 23, 2013 2:56 pm

If anyone is in need of bullets look at the Group Buy I am putting together in the Market Place. I will be placing the order from Precision Delta http://www.precisiondelta.com

Their prices are for FMJ Not Plated (not that there is anything wrong with plated) and if we get at least 10,000 bullets ordered the prices are discounted $4 per 1000.

I plan to place the order no later than this Sunday Night. I already have 5,000 commited for order.

I'm very sorry the AIM Bullet order fell through, but between it taking months to get the ATF Form 6 (Importation of Weaponry) and their Very High shipping quote, it did not make sense to follow through.

Please check the Market Place under Group Buys if you want to place an order.

Thanks,

BD

I put in an order for 6K about 5 weeks ago, don't plan on getting them anytime soon :( The site says 18 weeks, I hope they ship sooner than that.

I spoke to one of the sales people and she said they were getting shipments out faster than 18 weeks, but she wouldn't commit to a set time frame. I figured I will use them whenever they arrive and still have bullets expected from another member that also does the group buys. The good thing isthey won't spoil and one, can NEVER have too many bullets on hand...lol

I ordered 8k in early March. I think the time frame was as it is now.
Good product, value and company for those considering this.
As an aside, they sell sample paks of 100. I ordered 3 different weights of .40 S&W/ 10mm auto. They arrived in about 2-1/2 weeks.

We are currently at the 6000 bullet order. This gives a $2 per 1000 discount. If we get 4000 more, the discount moves to $4 per thousand.

I plan to close the orders around noon this coming Monday 4/29/13 So please get your orders in before the dead line so I can get everything in order.

You won't need to get the funds to me until the 8th week which gives everyone time to save their nickles and dimes....lol

Happy Shooting,

Ok everyone, we hit the 10,000 Discount level so whatever you order will be $4 less per 1000 of the listed prices on their website.

I'll place the final order Monday around noon and then contact each person that orders with their totals and all my contact info, such as address and phone number.

Thanks to everyone partaking in my First Group Buy. It's good to see we can all get the supplies we need and save a few dollars at the same time.

Hi everyone, I was just informed by one of the others that are ordering that Precision Delta Increased their prices. This must have occured in the last two days. I looked at the 9mm 115 gr FMJ and they went from (Before our qty discount) $88 per 1000 to $93 per 1000.

I don't know about the rest because I was only following the 115's

Whatever their price is, we still qualify for the $4 per 1000 discount unless this causes cancelled orders from those that have contacted me.

If anyone wishes to Cancel their order, Please contact me Before Noon Monday 4/29/13, wjen I plan to close the order and then collate everything and place our combined order.

Maybe I should have been faster, but I wanted to give as many people as possible, a chance to get in on the order. I never dreamed this would occur over night, but it has. And, if anyone wants to cancel their order I fully understand. I hope you don't. If you decide to cancel, please contact me in the same manner you contacted me to place your order.

Thanks to everyone ordering, we will still save a few bucks,

I'm still waiting for my precision delta order from February - how are you getting around the 18 week lead time?

Re: Bullet Group Buy LAST CALL

Postby BigDog58 on Mon Apr 29, 2013 9:13 am

Hi, Everyone. Our Group Buy is an Outstanding Success. We currently have 34,000 bullets to order. I want to thank EVERYONE that has participated. I will be Closing Orders in about Two Hours 12:00 noon today.

After I get the orders collated and the actual order placed I will contact each of you with your totals and ALL of my contact information.

This is my FIRST Group Buy and I want to thank each of you for helping to not only make this a great group buy, but also saving us a few bucks in the process. I'm sorry they raised prices last week. If I had known this was going to occur, I would have closed the buy sooner, but the sales lady I spoke to, never even hinted that this would occur. At least with our $4.00 per 1000 discount, we will still get a decent deal on bullets, given the way the industry is going.

This is the LAST CALL! So, if you want to ADD to or Change your order, you have about 2 hrs. remaining.

Thanks,
Jim

Since they were willing to give the $4/1000 discount at 10,000 quantity, before you order you should contact them again and ask them if they can increase the discount since the order will be over triple that quantity. During that discussion it would also be a good time to ask if they will honor the pre-increase prices since the process for the group buy started before they increased them. They may tell you to pound sand for both issues... or they may cave. It's worth asking.
