jdege - I like your setup there.. very cool.

Anyone used a MIC holster? Saw a reference to one a few weeks ago and it looks pretty interesting.

The XDs9 came out about 10 days ago. Lots of folks have picked them up.

That's cool for the 9mm fans. I have the .45ACP version, which is the smallest, usable single stack .45 out there. I'm glad they make a 9mm version of it as well. It will solidify the XDs series as a handgun that will be around for years.

Wife and I both carry LCP's, her's in a Glaco Sto-n-Go holster, mine in a Galco pocket holster. LCP is so convenient to carry that I'm more likely to ACTUALLY have it with me, which satisfies rule one of a self defense shooting, HAVE A GUN.

I've tried carrying bigger guns, but found myself often NOT carrying them.

That in-pants rig looks pretty sweet, but how long does it take to access your weapon when its fully concealed I'm wondering. And Tronster, that is what I am finding out myself perhaps, although I would feel pretty underpowered carrying a .380. Held an LC9, Shield and XDs at Gander in EP today, all felt great and are damn thin. All you XDs guys appear to be pretty satisfied, will probably look at that route (.45 acp).

Two-to-three seconds, when it's worn below the belt. Not quick-draw, by any means, but fast enough, given the constraints of tucked shirt and no cover garment.

Since it's worn outside the shirt-tail, it's just a matter of reaching into the pants and grabbing it. I found it a lot faster than clearing my shirt out of the way when I tried a tuckable IWB with j-hook.

When it's worn pulled up to IWB, the draw is pretty much as with any IWB rig.
