I had custom molded earplugs done and they do the job quite well. Unfortunately they also came with a 200 price tag. :(

I had custom-molded earplugs made by a local audiologist. They cost less than $30. Now, that's without any special inserts...just plugs. The price does go up if we're talking about molded-in Hocks brakes, or especially any electronics.
