It is rated for use with regular small rifle primers, but considering that Hodgdon favors WSR, that would imply hot small rifle primers, which WSR is among. Rem 7 1/2 is also a hot SRP. I believe MaryB has recently been doing work with CFE 223. Perhaps a PM to her would garner some advice.

In Theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In Practice, there is.
I just started using it so not a lot of experience yet. Used CCI small rifle primers and think 27.5 grains behind a 50 grain Hornady Z-max is going to be the ticket. Another friend found 27.5 to be the sweet spot too. He was shooting an AR-15, I was using a Savage Axis bolt rifle.
