This is a 2 day 20 hour class to hone your defensive skills with the pistol. It requires solid holster skills and good safety practices.

Learn from a decorated Vietnam era combat experienced Marine officer with 40 years of law enforcement and world wide training experience. John has trained thousands of police, military and gun owners around the world. A night shoot is involved and you will fire roughly 500 rounds in two days. Training at Monticello Sportsmen Club's excellent facilities.

This class is a go, just 4 seats left. Cost is $625 More details here http://www.mnguntrain.com/classes-by-ou ... hn-farnam/

Another note regarding the upcoming class with John Farnam. I have attended a number of classes with Farnam, both here and out of state. I am a big proponent of REJ Firearms training and their bringing in experts like John to host classes in Minnesota, saving the huge expense of time and travel to go out of state. I understand ammunition is in short supply these days but don't let that deter you from this opportunity! It's a small sacrifice to be able to learn what John has to offer. He brings a unique perspective to personal defense training after which I've modeled my classes. I highly recommend this class and would be excited if you joined us!

I have attended two of John Farnam's classes through REJ and highly recommend taking this course for anyone serious in advancing their defensive gun fighting skills. The opportunity to train locally with a world renowned instructor like John should not be passed up.

I've known John Farnam for almost 20 years. He has over 40 years of experience as a trainer and is still going strong!

I'm looking forward to joining him for this class, and I would encourage others to do so. This is a great opportunity to train with an internationally recognized instructor.

You see what folks say about John Farnam and he has locally trained almost 100 folks since we started hosting him here in 2008. Some on the board want training from a combat veteran, John was a Marine 2 LT in Vietnam in 1968. 3 Purple Hearts earned tell me he saw some combat. John returned to the states with a training focus of teaching other Marines how to do their job and avoid getting shot. He moved to Army reserves part time and spent 20 years there, leaving as a major.

He then became a full time LEO and trainer part time , evolving to a full time trainer, and part time LEO. Some say OK, he was a LEO, did he see any action? Well when you train military, armed police and civilians world wide full time for over 30 years, you see some action. John has trained many times in South Africa and other garden spots of the world. Yes, he has has used his guns to defend himself and others. The FBI must think he 's the real deal, he is a special consultant on marksmanship and techniques with the bureau and frequently trains other elite forces.

Want to see for yourself, 20 hours of training, $625. Sign up at http://www.mnguntrain.com. 9 people already in the class, 500 rds of pistol ammo needed.

We have 10 folks signed up for this 20 hr class and it is definitely on. John will be assisted by 4 experienced instructors, 3 of whom he has designated as his staff instructors. We have room for a few more students to experience a Farnam Defensive Pistol class. John is a serious instructor, runs a great class and gets outstanding reviews.

I understand ammo is a concern and am pleased to offer the 500 rds of 9mm needed for the class for just $175. I had a good day and found this Remington UMC 115 gr 9mm locally at a pretty good price. I have enough for 2 students. I was also able to score some 230gr Fed and Rem ammo and I can supply one student 500 rounds for $250. No desire to sell the ammo by itself.

This is the Basic class, all it requires is the ability to draw safely from the holster and move safely with the gun. Don't have these handgun skills, I or others can train you at a discounted rate before the class. Pls call me at 952 479-0534 or email me at bob@mnguntrain.com or go online to http://www.mnguntrain.com/register-and-pay-online/ to get registered for this class.

Last call on the world famous John Farnam's class. Want trained by a military man, 4 years in the USMC ( 3 Purple Hearts in Vietnam), another 16 in US Army Reserve. 40 years a LEO, John has traveled the globe teaching the unique Farnam method. He has also written several well received books about these rifle and pistol techniques.

We have room for a few more students...

I am definately looking forward to attending. I think Southnarc's ECQC has been my favorite defensive handgun course to date; Farnam's course should be equally epic, but in a different way. See you all in a couple weeks.
