Recent weather in MN.

Postby Li'l Beaver on Sat Jun 22, 2013 8:53 am

With due respect to the many fine innocent folks in Minnesota who have been hard hit with the snow and cold of the past winter along with the current heavy rains and flooding I am wondering if Mother Nature is on our side punishing the state for the actions of the state legislature and those who helped elect the total Democratic control.

While Rep. Anzelc did oppose the numerous Anti-Gun bills in the recent legislative session I do not feel that he and the rest of the Democrats were friends of the working and retired people in Minnesota with their drunken spending spree.

On a related note has anyone seen an obituary or news article regarding the passing of Sen. Saxhaug? I assume that he must have died early in the session since I never received any replies to my numerous emails to him during the recent session. I did not even receive a "Canned Boiler Plate" response thanking me for my interest in the legislature!

I am looking forward to the up-coming mid term elections with hope that we can replace Sen. Franken, Sen. Klobuchar, and Rep. Nolan along with a majority of the Democrats in the state legislature. I believe that now is the time to mount an extended campaign to keep reminding the voters of the actions of these politicians and their Free Spending ways, so that we can elect more conservative politicians who will uphold the Constitution.

I will now get off my soapbox and relinquish the floor to others who may or may not agree with my comments.

Did you really just blame the weather on the DFL?

I think he implied it was punishment from god for electing a DFL majority.

Guess I should add swarms of locusts and raining frogs to my NOAA weather app alerts until this whole DFL majority thing blows over.

Oh yeah. The OP is a shining example of why a whole lot of people want religion and politics far, far apart.

Taliban-lite, you gotta love it....

Only "lite" until they take over, then it's mandatory tithing (pre tax of course), burning witches and stoning gays.

Ummmm....

You DO realize that Sen. Klobutcher was re-elected just this past November (by a sizable majority, I might add), right? That means she has another six (well, 5 1/2 years) to ignore the will of the general populace of MN before she has to stand for re-election.

And then get reelected on campaign commercials about how she bought off and bribed people with special favors.

That is so unusual for a politician! How does such a thing happen and she get away with it?
