Trayvon is not being accused of a crime last I checked? Zimmerman is guilty because he followed a teenage boy who was doing nothing else but looking black and scary, and then gunned him down. I don't care if Trayvon did smash zimmermans head into the ground when they were scuffling. Trayvon didn't instigate the situation, Zimmerman did. Pretty open/shut. I realize FL has some wacky ass laws and the bar for conviction is high, but I'm still confident that Zimmerman will be convicted. If not, Karma will always catch up.

I realize most of you folks share the vigilante mindset, so I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

So by your logic. If I'm following you down the sidewalk and you don't like it, it's cool for you to attack me, smash my head into the concrete and I have no legal option but to lay there and potentially get beat to death?...... especially if you're black?

I think CNN shows their bias by using a larger font for the word Murder in their logo.
They could have designed it to have all words the same font size. But the larger font tends to lead people to that conclusion since it is larger.

Also why is Zimmerman so much larger? And his face cut in half? And the colors invoke emotion! I hate trials by media.

You haven't heard her talk. She can BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH and lawyers from both sides are questioning her on it. It's an issue in the trial and all the Lib talking heads are discussing it. When I see indivuals or groups of blacks / minorities that can't take care of themselves I look for WHITE LIBERALS to blame.

You can read "Report from the 4th Precinct" (North Minneapolis) here every week Who's responsible for that mess? I'm looking at a white mayor and a white 9-5 police chief and a white liberal power structure (including liberal judges) in Minnesota.

One question I haven't heard anyone raise is:

How did Trayvoon pay for his gold teeth?
Did he have a paper route? We have little info about why he was suspended from school.
We heard a little bit about possession of 'Burglary Tools' and possession of 'Women's Jewelry'

Was the 17 year old child a petty burglar? That's my guess. And he was scoping out apartments for easy scores through sliding glass doors.

None of Trayvoons school suspension records will be presented at trial. Again this is the 'Legal System' not the 'Justice System'

My wish for this whole mess is simple: Aquittal & no race-riots. Trayvoon's mom seems to be the most decent person on that side of the aisle and I'm guessing that SHE HAS ASKED AL SHARPTON to stay away.

More good news is this is clipping right along an I'll bet it's done before 4 weeks.

Out of curiousity, what does the Zimmerman case have to do with Minnesota such that it would disqualify Heffay from making comments that are as silly and inflammatory as yours?

You keep referring to Trayvon Martin as "Trayvoon". Obviously intentional, it seems disrespectful. What's your reasoning for the intentional misspelling? What point are you trying to make?

If you tried creeping up on my in the dark, stalking me and then confront me with an attitude, it would be reasonable for me to be in fear of my safety, possibly my life. Even if Treyvon punched zimmerman, smashed his head in the sidewalk, Zimmerman still initiated the confrontation. Can't claim self defense if you started it. I'm all for the 2nd amendment. But I hope after Zimmerman is convicted it will send a strong message that if you are going to carry a gun around, you are taking on a great responsibility and this type of behavior will not be tolerated.

So, if you confront a stranger in your neighborhood as part of your neighborhood watch program, and they attack you in a way that you feel threatens your life, you can't defend yourself with deadly force? Can you cite a Florida statute to support that argument?

Just last year there was a lady getting mugged at gunpoint in MPLS, the purse snatcher ran off and a PTC holder pursued him. The bad guy drew his gun but was shot dead by the permit holder. In this scenario, the permit holder initiated the contact and was still in the right to use deadly force. Different scenarios (and different states) for sure, but I don't understand what you're basing your logic on. Truth is you have no idea what happened, and the only living person that really knows what happened seems to have a pretty good case for the shooting. Remember....."beyond a reasonable doubt". No way this guy gets convicted. It's just not plausible to erase a reasonable doubt without more witnesses or evidence.

That said, I think he was probably in the wrong to some degree....but he'll never be found guilty of murder beyond a reasonable doubt.
