I've been using a motorized RCBS Trim-Pro with 3 way cutters for many years. I think it's the the way to go. It trims and chamfers, inside and out, all at the same time.

What does it index off of? It doesn't look like it is long enough to reach the case head. Does it operate on the theory that all your brass is of the same dimension from the head to the neck? I'm sorry for being a pain but I'm trying to understand how it gets a repeatable trim length. I believe that it works but how it works puzzles me.

WFT indexes off of sized shoulder.

The length is adjusted by setting the depth of the end mill(cutter). By far the best case trimming method I've used(not counting any methods over $150)

The WTF lists 300 BLK. If I size 223 with my 300 BLK die, would the WTF give me the length I need to complete the brass?

Any idea whether the 3way cutter would fit on a hornady case trimmer? Threads and shaft diameter the same?

I don't know what thread size Hornady uses, but I measured the threads on the RCBS 3 way cutter and they are 3/8-24 UNF. The second cutter in the picture is from my Lyman trimmer, I didn't gauge the threads, but they appear to be 7/16 fine.
