A place to discuss calibers, ammunition, and reloading

I love my den.......even if the walls are purple...The press you see is a Texan loadmaster which has been in use since the 1960's. My father has given it to me as long as he never has to buy deer hunting ammo. This press has seen many thousands of rounds and hopefully will see many more. This room is in my basement so right now it is cool and comfy.

Curious what kind of press that is. I don't think I've ever seen one like that before.

Just received my Inline Fabrication Ultra mounts! I have nothing but good things to say about them. I had one for about 6 months and just ordered the other two.

Very nice Rodent. I'm trying to reorganize mine and if I get it completed before my surgery I'll post it up. Otherwise it'll be next year before I can get it done

I hear ya dog. It took my son and me quite awhile to get this done. He's not the best at measuring and I don't get around so well anymore. Anyway it's workable and a lot of fun.

Mine's not *so* bad for clutter, but I only own one kind of powder and 3 kinds of bullets. I suppose that has some advantage, in that there's no way to have an accident and mix two powders or just use the wrong one, but looking at photos like Rodentman's does leave me with a bit of "supply envy." :)

My theory is that if I live long enough to retire I have enough supplies to keep me going for awhile since my income will drop and I don't want to be stuck deciding between primers and cat food. Neither do my cats.

That's what I did, but am getting low on some primers.
Sitting on 340 pounds of powder roughly, though most is for 50BMG.
Only get 28 loaded rounds per pound of powder, so use plenty.
Loaded 500 223 on turret press this afternoon and setup a 550 for 357Mag.
Will load about 2200 of 357 using 140 XTP's, 296, WSPM, & new Starline cases.
Will setup other 550 for 9mm and 40 afterwards.

Wife home sleeping after surgery today.

Yup, definite case of "supply envy" on my part. Here's hoping your wife recovers quickly.
