Why would you hate to say that?

I have to believe Obama, Holder, and the officials in dept of Justus understand the facts, laws, and legalities surrounding this case quite thoroughly.
They further understand that the reality of this situation, like human nature itself, does not promote their agenda of gun control, or the concept of a perpetually victimized underclass in need of shepherding from the government.
Thus the narration of an imagined past, and appeals to the emotion of those ignorant of the law and events.

Because it is a very thin line and some may think that advocating for free speech is also condoning what some of people are saying, and that is not the case for me. They have a right to say what they feel; it doesn't mean they have the right to say ut here.

Oh, if only this board had some moderators. :o

There are plenty of questionable SYG cases that have happened in Florida.

This was not one of them.

When he makes statements like:

And for those who resist that idea that we should think about something like these "stand your ground" laws, I'd just ask people to consider, if Trayvon Martin was of age and armed, could he have stood his ground on that sidewalk? And do we actually think that he would have been justified in shooting Mr. Zimmerman who had followed him in a car because he felt threatened?

... it leads me to believe he doesn't and I am not sure I buy in to your "theories" - seems to me they have a lot more important agendas to promote than the one you've suggested.
