This rodent won't shoot any 500 mags with 269 gr of powder in them. I get 152 rounds per lb.

I thought you were talking about 500 S&W mag. But I suspected you might have meant BMG.

On my Dillon, I pull the whole thing off shake and dump, shake and dump, then blow out with compressed air.

I did that with the Lee today, even after it locks you will lose the powder that in the auto discs.....it will make a mess. Think best solution is to charge cases and dump them out back into the powder container....but I am a n00b.

I use the adjustable charge bar instead of the discs and no problems. I shut off the hopper, cycle the action fot dispensing powder till I see nothing come out, and pour it into the container. now when I switcah powder, I will blow it out with a air comp, but if the same is going back in, then I don't worry about it

Maybe if you did the math before you reloaded you wouldn't end up with extra powder in your measurer to begin with!

I like to keep enough powder powder in the hopper to help keep the charges consistent.

I also have the Lee. Turn to close and lift off for a dump to empty.
