so what's your point. You don't like people with a different sense of humor than you?

No, I don't like people who promote irresponsible behavior as some on this post are doing.

You carry a pistol?

Have you learned how to defend yourself without a pistol?

Because if you haven't, THAT is even more irresponsible.

Last weekend I took a buddy for some much needed exercise of the 2nd amendment. The guy next to us was working on drawing a pepper shaker with bullet homes on his target. Had to get assistance from the bills staff a couple times. Right when we were wrapping up our session I was standing there tending to my things I look to my left and there is this crazy Russian guy with a 45 pointed at my gut.

I grabbed his hands and turned the weapon down range.. Thought about dropping him. He said "is not loaded, chill out". Conversation ended when I told him I'd kill him with my bare hands if he points it in my direction again. His last words when laughing about his terrible aim on his target "I better with ak".

I do not carry a pistol. I carry a revolver among other things for self defense. And it is not up to you to determine how I should be defending myself. Typical of the gun toting trigger happy liberals and junior g-men, you feel it to be necessary to impose your beliefs upon others.
And my name is not Francis. All you can do is repeatedly quote a line from an obscure juvenile movie. Not very imaginative. Be a little more imaginative, little man. Check out my signature line. That is from a 1960's classic that is far beyond your scope of comprehension. Maybe as you grow up you will appreciate the finer things.

I sort of feel like I have to go to Bills, as it's closer to me than BPR, and also sells ammo on site. I believe BPR gave up that practice years ago? I am however concerned with the (as XDM45 puts it) "rent-a-boomstick crowd ". While I make no claims to expertise of handling firearms. I trust in my ability to responsibly, safely, and effectively handle my own personal firearm, over someone else's ability to do the same with a firearm they're likely unfamiliar with!

BPR does sell ammo, but supplies are not yet consistent. Best to call ahead and see what they have that day. I was there yesterday and the sign had 9mm and .45 ACP crossed out.

I don't know a damn thing about this incident either. But, if the OP is correct and there was a "malfunction", that would pretty much rule out a revolver.

Not sure if you'd call this a malfunction.

Just a BIT too much H110 in his load. Lotsa room in 44 mag for extra.

John is that what happened or an example?

Looks to me like some idiot with a semi-auto had a negligent discharge and blew half the cylinder off that nice revolver. It's a shame, but 5 minutes of work with a small hammer and a nail file and you'd still have a perfectly functional 3 round revolver.
